Standard Tuning

  • A standard piano tuning involves precisely adjusting the tension of each string to achieve optimal pitch, improving tone quality, and allowing the instrument to sound its best.

  • $155 tax included

  • A standard piano tuning typically takes between 1-2 hours.

Piano Moving

  • Our professional piano moving service safely transports pianos to a new location, using proper techniques and equipment to navigate through doorways, up/down stairs, and load/unload the instrument without risk of damage. We ensure your valuable piano arrives securely at its new home.

Major Pitch Tuning

  • A major pitch tuning is a more extensive service that involves adjusting the entire pitch level of the piano up or down by a semi-tone or more. This is recommended when the piano's overall pitch has significantly drifted from the standard concert pitch over years of use.

  • $250 tax included

  • A major pitch piano tuning typically takes between 2-3 hours.

Appraisals & Evaluations

  • Our appraisal and evaluation services provide an expert assessment of your piano's condition, value, and any repair needs. Whether for insurance purposes, estate planning, or determining if restoration is warranted, we give you an informed status on your instrument.

Action Repairs

  • Action repairs involve fixing or regulating the internal mechanical parts of a piano's action - the system of levers and hammers that allows the keys to strike the strings. This restores the piano action's responsiveness, evenness of touch, and optimizes performance.

  • $100/hour

  • Action repairs depend heavily on the state and condition of the piano. The full duration of this service will be determined after an initial consultation.

Climate Control System 

  • We offer the installation and maintenance of specialized climate control systems designed to regulate humidity levels and temperatures for pianos. These systems help protect your valuable investment by preventing damage from dry conditions that can cause cracking, sticking keys, and other issues.

“Up-to-Speed Service”

  • Our comprehensive 12-point Up to Speed Service is recommended for pianos that have gone 10+ years without proper maintenance. This thorough service addresses a multitude of issues that arise from a long-term lack of care, getting your piano back into optimal playing condition. Clients will be advised if this rebuild service is necessary for their instrument, or if a referral to another technician is more appropriate.

    How to know this service might be for you:

    • Your piano hasn't been tuned for 10 or more years

    • You aren't sure how long it's been since the piano was tuned

    • It was a "free" piano

    • It was left by the curb

    • It was left behind in the home you recently purchased

    This service includes:

    • Evaluate the piano and discuss any repairs

    • Major pitch correction

    • Fine-tuning to concert pitch

    • Clean the interior of the piano

    • Clean under the keys

    • Clean and lubricate key pins

    • Ease key bushings to eliminate sticky keys Minor voicing and regulation adjustments.

    • Clean keytops and level keys as needed.

    Please Note:

    Replacement of strings broken during tuning is not included in the fee. While every effort is made to minimize the breaking of strings, no technician can control whether or not a string will break.
